Concern “Ukrgaz” was an official partner at the 25th International Conference “Commercial accounting of energy carriers”.Concern “Ukrgaz” was an official partner at the 25th International Conference “Commercial accounting of energy carriers”, which took place on 22-24 of May in St Petersburg. Forum was attended by more than 150 members from all CIS countries; leading specialists in the sphere of scientific metrology and practice of introduction of accounting systems gathered to discuss new technologies, and current problems of the energy carriers accounting. Conference in St Petersburg was first held in the form of so called “Kremlin readings” from PP.Kremlevskyi (father of Russian flowmeter survey”), who used to hold Conferences “Methods and appliances for measuring consumption and quantity of substances”. One of the major issues, discussed at the conference was introduction of interstate standards GOST 8.586.1 ,2,3,4,5,-2005, regulating measuring of quantity and consumption of energy carriers by means of variable pressure drop. Specialists confirmed that this method has better regulatory basis, due to this one can be sure in measurement accuracy. Speaking about other measurement methods, e.g. different gas meters - membrane, rotor, ultrasonic, currently it is impossible to speak about accuracy of such meters. Professor, Y.P.Pistun, Doctor of Engineering Sciences explained: “We still have to solve many problems, concerning other measurement methods, though of course there are some perspectives."
